Meet Liv Cowle. She’s an experienced music journalist, has worked with Euradio and is now one of the contributors and editors at The Rodeo Magazine in the UK. We talk about how she preps for interviews, what she’s excited about in the indie music scene and our favorite stereotypes about America and Scotland.
About The Rodeo
Existing somewhere between Manchester and the Wild West, The Rodeo is a British music magazine showcasing the best in new music across genres of alternative, indie and Americana. Plus, everything we love about gig-going, vinyl-collecting and playlist-making.
Their quarterly print magazine, now in its 14th edition, is the culmination of the efforts of their team of writers and their willingness to offer something a bit different.
The Rodeo’s identity is inspired by American country music and diner aesthetic, though covers an eclectic range of great alternative music, including a wide range of new British indie talent. It features serious interviews with up-and-coming artists, alongside unique creative pieces that you would struggle to find in any other publications, and we like to add their own creative spins – such as our ‘Haiku Reviews’ for albums.
